My goal with Emperor's was to bring a postmodern sensibility to an asphalt playground. By using bold colors and pattern on pattern, I wanted to channel an early 1990s spirit that felt alive and current for the 2022 generation.
Normally, the Wee Folks proscenium is unbroken, but I felt removing the central section would amplify the postmodern feel.
